Republicans Pushing Pentagon to Build Death Star
This is an oldie but a goodie and with the recent release of Star Wars Ep III, it's somewhat relevant right now. This write up from The Weekly Standard draws parallels between the power struggle in the Star Wars movies with that of the Democrats and Republicans in recent history. Somehow, the author concludes that he'd rather live in fear under the rule of a dictator rather than in freedom under a truly democratic senate. In yet another nod to V for Vendetta fans, the author equates anarchy to true freedom. Whatever it takes I guess!
