This is my country?

Although we disagree with Bush's handling of Iraq and his international policies, isn't it reassuring to know that our government will be there in times of extreme crisis?

Oh well, it's only the poor black South anyway.

I really didn't like the fact that Bush won, but now i'm really pissed off that he and his adminstration won. I thought the first admin was a good one led by a dumb fuck, but now this one....well they're all DUMB FUCKS!!! Aarrggghhh!!! U know that thing is coming why don't u prepare for it. I'm not sure if it's the way things are reported but it seems like the tsunami situation was handled a lot better.

Also, you ichiots, they're not LOOTING (well the ones w/food) they're trying to LIVE. Wouldn't you take the food if you are starving and there's no one there to help you? And i personally would steal whatever i can cause i'm soooooo pissed that my government is not there to help me, it's a way to get out my frustration and just to say FUCK YOU all. UGH!!!! AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!

Dude, you are basically saying what a lot of us feel. And the thing that really makes me tear my hair out is people are STILL backing this shit for brains.

Scientists have warned of this exact series of events since at least 2002. We have not only the means to evacuate our citizens but also a way to STOP the destruction of a category five hurricane. This year alone Bush cut 80 - 90% of the funding needed to secure the levy and other environmental adjustments to the Mississippi River that could have stopped this in its tracks.

Whatever angle you take, it's bad. One of the worst signs of our capitalist corruption is the gas prices. Americans are taking on the ENTIRE burden of the rise in gas costs while corporations are making a killing. Politicians have called for their taking a 20% loss in profit this year, thus stabilizing the cost of gas prices but of course they will not. Nor will our president, who's pockets are lined with his friend's oil money, make them do it while on the other hand, every single American will feel the pinch in some way.
